How about a rotary in 323 or Protege?

Postby Craig » September 21st, 2005, 4:48 am

I'm really looking to put a rotary in a wee little British car, a Mini. I'm just wondering if anyone out there in rotaryland has contemplated doing a 323 or Protege as I would really like to have five speeds and a bit stronger gearbox than the Mini's. Would a 12A or 13B actually fit on the 323 manual gearbox?

This is in response to all the Honda VTEC conversions that are so popular with the "Crazy Mini Crowd" these days. Just wanting to convert to something very different if possible.

Thanks for looking and hopefully you're not laughing so hard that you can't respond to this!

the only hard part would be getting an adapter to bolt the motor to the tranny.
